A worthy level of fitness requires a commitment few are willing to make. Having the discipline to sacrifice comfort for pain is against our natural instincts. Perhaps that's why our society is fatter and more unhealthy than ever. But within these walls we live differently. We value progress and understand the price that must be paid to achieve it. This mentality, while difficult to maintain, is made easier in the company of likeminded individuals in search of the same preservation.

A worthy level of fitness requires a commitment few are willing to make. Having the discipline to sacrifice comfort for pain is against our natural instincts. Perhaps that’s why our society is fatter and more unhealthy than ever. But within these walls we live differently. We value progress and understand the price that must be paid to achieve it. This mentality, while difficult to maintain, is made easier in the company of likeminded individuals in search of the same preservation. Look around and become more aware of your surroundings, for it shapes us (often without knowing), making the need to control our environment more important than ever to the accomplishment of any goal. To reshape who you are reshape who you hang out with. Think about it like this: If you want to learn how to become wealthy you don’t hang out with poor people who mismanage money. You hang out with wealthy people who have experienced long standing success in finances. The same is true for being healthy and fit. Either change those you’re surrounded by or seek new acquaintances.
