8.29.15 Training Sessions (2), Strongman Camp

 

 

GENERAL PREPARATION
WORKOUT:
Group Dynamic Warm-up, 8-10 minutes
Then:
KB Windmill Strength Ladder
5-4-3-2-1
Then:
4x TGU Suicide, each side
Then:
P12x(3x Ball Slam + 3x Burpee) 
P2 Dead Hang from rings, L-Hang is you want to get sassy
P3 Rest
Switch, 12 minute AMRAP
Then:
3x (30/30) Mountain Climber, “rest” in FLR position +
50x Goblet Squats in as few sets as possible, athlete chooses weight +
3x (30/30) Mountain Climbers, “rest” in FLR position
Then:
Cool Down

 

STRONGMAN TRAINING
Group Dynamic Warm-up, 5-8 minutes
Then:
8x Stone Load over Yoke, set height to athlete’s shoulders
3 sets, rest as needed
Then:
3x Max Distance Farmer’s Walk in 60 sec (turns every 50′)
Makes @ 230# , Females 130#
Then:
Cool Down
